1. Information we collect

a) If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

b) In order to use certain parts this Web site, you must first complete the registration form [and/or create a user name and password]. During registration, you will be asked to give contact information (such as name and email address) as well as some other pertinent information used to register you for testing. 

c) The parts of the website for which you have to register may set cookies that are used solely for your convenience. As an example, on parts of the site where you register, your browser will be able to remember your password if you allow cookies to be set.


d) We maintain log files which record what pages are visited. The information we collect on log files is not tied to any personal information you supply, or to your purchasing history.

2. How we use the information we collect

a) We do not share any information we obtain from you with any third parties with these sole exceptions: (1) We do provide the information necessary to process credit-card and Paypal payments to the Credit Card provider (Visa, Master Charge, American Express, Discover) or to Paypal, and (2) we will provide information as required by law enforcement agencies or in connection with a court-order.

b) We do not have advertising on our site and do not share any information, including aggregated information with third parties. We do not sell information we collect to third parties for use in mailing lists or for other purposes.

c) We do aggregate information regarding visits to our site. This information includes what pages are visited, what pages, if any, referred you to our site, geographic information and related site-visit information. This information is not tied to your personal information and is used by us to help us understand who is interested in our services so that we can provide better products and services for prospective students.


3. How we safeguard the information we collect

a) The information we collect is stored on third party servers that have substantial experience providing hosting services and that we believe follow industry standard security practices.

b) Only authorized persons at Transitions Career Institute have access to any personal information you supply.

c ) Where we ask you to supply credit card payment related information, we use a third party, payment service. The information transmitted over those connections is encrypted and communication occurs over a hypertext transport over a secure (https) link between your browser and the payment server.

4. Changes in our privacy policy
We may from time to time revise this privacy policy, and the privacy policy on this page may change from time to time to reflect the privacy policy in effect at that time.
